Lose-Lose situation

I have a situation.....

We have a Table Tennis tournament being organized in the company. By a random stroke of (bad) luck I have been paired with the Managing Principal (Boss of all other bosses that I have!!!) of the company as my partner.Thats not all....

By another random stroke of (worse) luck, I have been paired against the Vice President as the first round opponent.

I don't know what is worse for me...Losing with the "Boss of all Bosses" as partner or defeating the Boss.
